Privacy Policy

Your private library stays on your device and in your own iCloud account. Sharing and music identification happen only when you choose those features. Ekkos does not sell personal data or track your audio for advertising. Your library Audio, optional photos, location and the titles, tags and notes you enter are stored on your device. When iCloud is available, your private library syncs through Apple CloudKit. Sharing is your choice Recordings added to a shared group make their audio, photo, title, date, location and your display name available to its members through CloudKit. Sign in with Apple identifies participants. Exported files can be retained by recipients. Recording and permissions Microphone access is needed to record. Camera and location access are optional. Quick actions open the recording screen and use your recording preferences; automatic audio and photo capture require the relevant permissions. Stopped recordings are kept as drafts until saved or discarded. Lock Screen and processing Live Activities show recording status on the Lock Screen and Dynamic Island until ended. Anyone who can see that screen may see this status. Audio enhancement and microphone-level analysis run on-device. If you choose Shazam, a signature derived from the selected audio segment is submitted to Apple for music matching. This website and support The contact form sends your name, email address, message and optional app version to our support inbox through Cloudflare. Turnstile checks submissions for abuse. The form does not attach recordings or photos automatically. We use your message to respond to your request. App purchases are handled by Apple; we do not receive payment-card details. Your control Delete recordings in the app to remove local and private-iCloud copies as sync completes. Remove recordings from shared groups or stop sharing to revoke group access; this cannot remove copies others exported. You can manage iCloud data in iOS Settings.
